Are people who cite the 2nd Amendment honestly familiar with what it establishes?

Now, my question for you, is are you honestly familiar with a what the 2A establishes?!?

I cannot speak for everyone who cites the Second Amendment, but I can speak for myself.

I grew up around firearms, when they were left on racks in pickups and displayed in wood and glass cabinets, much like a China cabinet. After high school, I joined the Navy and while I wasn't around firearms everyday, I was around plenty of firearms and have fired more different firearms than most in the military.

Hello, I have a question about astral projection. I started to get interested in this a little while after my mum passed in april. I thought I may be able to see her and speak with her if I managed to achieve astral projection. Since this interest, every time i sleep on my back I go into sleep paralysis. However, I cant progress into astral projection because it is very scary for me as I feel like I'm suffocating when this happens. I panic and force myself to wake up. This only ever happened about once a year before this. It sometimes lasts a long time. This has happened about 3 times per week since my mum died, as mentioned on a previous post. I no longer try to go into it anymore(due to the suffocating feeling), but it still happens. I read that sleep paralysis is the pathway to astral projection. Why has this started to happen so frequently since simply taking an interest in it? Is this connected to the afterlife? I am concerned about it as I now cannot seem to stop this happening. Could it be my mum trying to communicate? Im asking due to more knowledge around this in this group.

After I retired, I didn't feel the need to immediately acquire my own firearm and was more focused on transitioning and making the most of my civilian life. In 2021, I was living in Nashville, when protestors set fire to the Capitol building. The civil unrest gave me an uncomfortable feeling and I realized I was not equipped to protect my family. It was then that I decided I wanted a firearm. I spent six months or more researching firearms, ammo and laws relating to carrying a firearm in public. I had some missteps at work and was investigated related to owning a firearm. Twice I was asked questions during the investigation and already knew the law that answered the question, because I had already done my homework and I had acted legally. I did have to look up the number of the law in the Tennessee code so the investigator could verify the information I gave them.

All that to say, when I say I have studied the Second Amendment, what it says and what it means, I put as much time and effort into knowing the 2A, as I did Tennessee law and which firearm I chose for my first and why. I am intimately familiar with what the 2A established.
